Water well drilling

“If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water.’” (John 7:37-38)

The construction of water wells in poor rural villages, communities and schools has been and is a major part of our humanitarian ministry. To date, we have provided pure potable water to an estimated 150,000 people in northern Peru with over 300 wells. Where these wells have been constructed the people no longer have to get their drinking and cooking water from the same contaminated streams or pools that are used to wash clothes, bathe their bodies and where the animals drink and void.

A villager states, “our babies and old folks are no longer suffering constantly from stomach infections thanks to this water well”.

A school director reported that absenteeism in their school is no longer a problem since the pure water became available.

A respected senior citizen resident of an isolated poor rural village said, with tears streaming down his weathered face, “all my life I dreamed that someday we would have pure water for our village, Villa Milagro has made this possible”.

Jaime Rivera is our master driller and manages each project.

Wells are constructed and pumping systems are installed at no cost to the schools, villages and communities who have no resources. Each well costs an average of US$5,000.00 to complete. A submersible pump costs up to $2,500.00 dollars US. We welcome you to become a partner in the construction of a well at a school or village.  Each location provides the opportunity to share the beautiful Gospel story of the woman at the well and her personal encounter with JESUS, the Living Water who produces eternal fruit.
